Paying 'It' Forward

This is one of my fave videos about Paying It Forward. Watch it and you'll see why. :) The first time I watched this video, it brought me to tears. My heart was moved. I then remembered the movie, Pay It Forward. Another fave of mine. And now, I am showing this video to my youngest daughter. In the middle part of the video, she then said, "Ma, gi pasa-pasa nila ang tabang (Mom, they passed on help to others)." I got teary-eyed. She's only 5 years old but then she got the message across. I have been volunteering on groups whenever I have spare time (I'm a single mom of two). I am not rich and all I can offer is my services for free. I always love to be a volunteer (whenever I can) and it gives me that different kind of happiness inside. Other people may not understand but someday they will. I just hope and pray that my daughters will also find time to help or rendering their services to others. Help comes in many forms. We may not easily decipher it but it's a g

A Lovely Pink Gown

My entry for this Pink Fridays meme is a pink gown from fellow blogger and friend, Mommy Grace. During the Kagay-an Festival, CDOBloggers have been invited to cover events as a media partner for this year. When the event organizer said that we will be wearing a gown, I panicked. It's been ages that I haven't wear one. My gowns doesn't fit me anymore and I got taller (yes, I did!). Good thing that Mommy Grace let me borrow her gown. The fitting time comes and I wore the blue gown first, it did fit me but Mommy Grace and Roxanne suggested that I will fit the pink gown. I got hesitated for a moment that it won't suit me and I felt it wasn't right to wear it and surprisingly  it looks good on me (they said!). Here is a picture of me with the lovely pink gown. Mom Plus Two Loves Coffee

Do you like having coffee? Wait, let me rephrase my first question. Do you love coffee? Are you sipping it with a friend or a loved one? Or just you with a good book in another hand? Well, who doesn't love coffee or even like it? I, for one, loves coffee. I love the idea of waking up and having my netbook and coffee by my side. I could remember way back when I was a kid, I used to sip a little coffee on my mother's cup and even asked her to put teeny bit coffee on my milk. This put to stop when my mom finally made a talk out of me for drinking coffee at a young age. The coffee sessions started coming back during college days when I have to stay up late for the exams. Below is my favorite mug that I use every single day. By the way, the mixture of my coffee is just a little brown sugar, coffee-mate and coffee. That simple! My question now is ... Do you love coffee?

Pink Notebook on Pink Fridays

Pink Fridays is already up! And my post is late (again! Lol) but I do hope I can still catch up. A co-CDOBlogger and friend, Roxanne, invited me along with few friends to enroll on a Commercial Cooking class every Sunday from 8:00 am to 12:00 noon at SDA-Northern Mindanao Conference Hall. We even enrolled for another class in the afternoon (suddenly!). And now that I'm officially a student, I have to buy some notebooks. After our classes, me and Venus bought two notebooks for my classes. One is for the cooking class and another for Massage Therapy class. It took us almost an hour on finding cheaper and nice notebooks. And yes, one of the color of my notebooks is Pink. ^_^ Show us your Pink stuff now!

Door Clothing Hanger for Pink Fridays

Last Saturday, our door clothing hanger at my room gave up after more than 20 years of its service (imagine that?). So, when Roxanne and I got a chance to go to the 4th floor of Gaisano City, we went looking for a nice and cheaper hanger. I am choosing on different styles and colors but Roxanne spotted the color pink (she must know I like the color pink, thanks Roxanne!). That's when I got a very nice idea of playing memes by starting with Pink Fridays by Pink Thoughts. Here is a picture of my new pink door clothing hanger... Oh, by the way this is my newly set up Mommy blog and my first time to join a meme. ^__^
