Oro Teatro Bulawanon has partnered with 7HS Media Productions in bringing to life a musical play that was originally created and staged at Tanghalan sa Kampo Juan last May 2019 in Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon. It was a 45-minute play focused about the father and daughter relationship of Manuel Martin his daughter, Annika. On August 5 & 6, our theater group will be staging the musical version of Ang Paglaya. Aside from the main casts, there are a lot of new and interesting characters and stories. Also, it has original songs that are written specifically for the play itself. It is a simple story that explores on relationships. Kagay-anon singer and songwriter, David Mercado, finally gets to release his first EP album dubbed “Secrets Revealed” on August 20, 2021. David hails from Cagayan de Oro, the City of Golden Friendship, but has been Manila-based since 2015. He started his career as a host of Mindanao Pop Idol in 2006 and from there, he went on to host various events, including weddings.  But singing has always been his first love, so it's no wonder that his journey to success started onstage, as he sang songs that could easily melt anyone's heart. In the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, I lost my online job, which I've had for many years.
